Description

SAILING BASIC LICENCE

In a sailing course to the sailing license you will learn the basic skills for sailing a dinghy. The course is designed to give you hands-on basic knowledge that will enable you to sail a dinghy in light weather conditions (light wind). During this training you practice maneuvers and the safe handling of the sailboat. They train the putting on and taking off, turning and jibing as well as rescue maneuvers. After the course it is possible to take the exam for the internationally valid VDS sailing certificate (from 12 years). Basically, you can rent a dinghy on all waters with this certificate. Children from 7 to 11 years of age complete the sailing junior certificate.

Accepted in all German waters (exceptions: Berlin and Lake Constance)
